This adapter cable connects to the motherboard or I/O adapter via flat ribbon cabling. Compatible with most brands of motherboards and I/O cards. The 11-inch length exceeds the standard length of cables often provided with motherboards, and provides flexibility for your connection.
- Note:Do not insert the LPT1 pin on the main board. The red side line is the 1st line. The corresponding 1st pin on the main board usually has a red line. The printer port working mode (parallel port mode) in the motherboard BIOS, please set to Normal

Compatibility
The Normal SPP mode is compatible with all parallel devices and is the slowest. Recommend ECP data is sent using the DMA protocol and provides symmetric two-way communication at a rate of 2.5 Mbit/s.
Two-Way Communication
ECP is very beneficial for large data devices such as scanners and printers. EPP Asymmetric two-way communication is provided using the existing parallel port, which is more suitable for parallel port drivers. The BIOS also supports ECP+EPP mode. If you don’t have one of the devices, you will waste an IRQ.
